چکیده

The aim of this study was to investigate the pathogen types in milk samples cows with clinical mastitis and sensitivity isolated bacteria various antibacterial drugs, Adana region, Turkey. carried out on 103 collected from dairy mastitis. Microbiological identification isolation were performed identify gram negative positive bacteria, Mycoplasma bovis fungi. Then, infected milks subjected vitro antibiotic testing, using 27 antimicrobials agents. As a result, total 146 microorganisms isolates obtained samples. predominant recovered fungi (21.9%), Escherichia coli (19.9%) Staphylococcus aureus (13.7%), followed by (8.2%) Streptococcus uberis (6.8%). mixed fungi, (75%) majority which bacteria. Ampicillin, imipenem, Chloramphenicol Streptomycin least effective antimicrobial agents, while most antibiotics Florfenicol, Amikacin Kanamycin / Cefalexin. In conclusion, that cause antibiogram results varied. Most importantly, fungal is serious problem, should always be considered before routine therapy.

Comparative antibiogram of coagulase-negative Staphylococci (CNS) associated with subclinical and clinical mastitis in dairy cows

AIM The present study was planned to determine the in vitro antibiotic susceptibility of coagulase-negative Staphylococci (CNS) strains isolated from clinical and subclinical cases of mastitis in dairy cows. Antibiotic sensitivity profile will be helpful to recommend early therapy at the field level prior to availability of CST results. MATERIALS AND METHODS The milk samples from cases of cli...

The prevalence of clinical and subclinical mastitis in dairy cows in the central region of Fars province, south of Iran

licensed dairy farms in the central region of Fars province were randomly selected in order to participate in aseasonal prevalence study. A cross-sectional study was designed to determine prevalence at cow and quarterlevel based on clinical signs for clinical mastitis and indirect tests for subclinical mastitis. 6180 quarters from1545 dairy cows were tested by clinical examination and Californi...

Genetic parameters of pathogen-specific incidence of clinical mastitis in dairy cows

Data from 274 Dutch herds recording clinical mastitis (CM) over an 18-month period were used to quantify the genetic variation for overall and pathogen-specific CM. Analysed pathogens were Staphylococcus aureus , coagulase negative staphylococci (CNS), Escherichia coli , Streptococcus dysgalactiae , Streptococcus uberis and other streptococci . The data set contained 47 563 lactations of 28 695...
